The second part of Bar Clacson, the Slipper Clutch can be found, only if you look for it behind the special door, in the back hidden space of the building. This analog/digital-free space has all the feels of a classic 70’s bar:  brown laminate bar, holiday string lights, and classic arcade games. The use of vintage-inspired barstools, neon lights and great finds from salvage yards encompass the goal of giving this bar a genuine vintage vibe. In order to create that small bar feel on the ground level, we kept the space dark and uplit the ceiling, which we painted red. The floors were sourced using reclaimed wood from an old gym, which allowed for pops of yellow, blue and red, tying in the color themes throughout the space. The mezzanine above, another hidden area, continues the same aesthetic and allows for a more intimate space to enjoy a drink or host a private party, while incorporating old comic books as wallpaper for an added point of interest. We worked relentlessly to provide a classic, hangout bar which boasts an overall capacity of 120 with 44 seats inside.
